ConcreteX is designed for compatible concrete. ExteriorX is designed for compatible exterior building surfaces. Both begin with clean, sound material and a product-specific application plan. ConcreteX and ExteriorX use ZnO for microbial inhibition without light, with additional photocatalytic activity in suitable light.
One level deeper.
Concrete’s pore structure, an existing sealer, and moisture condition influence treatment uptake. Glass, masonry, stucco, and painted finishes have different surface energies and compatibility requirements. Photocatalytic activity, wetting behavior, and water repellency are distinct mechanisms; use the mechanism specified for the selected product. ZnO contributes microbial inhibition without requiring light, and suitable light can enhance its activity. TiO₂ provides light-activated photocatalytic action. Cobalt is included to support heat dissipation. These are different roles within the formulation; surface contact, application, and operating conditions affect the result.

Does the treatment work when there is no light?
ConcreteX and ExteriorX are designed for surface care in both light and dark conditions. ZnO contributes microbial inhibition without light. Suitable light can enhance ZnO and activates TiO₂ photocatalysis. The level and duration of performance depend on the formulation, surface, application, and environment.
Can I use the same product on concrete and windows?
Use ConcreteX for its specified concrete applications and ExteriorX only on its compatible exterior materials. Do not assume products are interchangeable.
Will the surface still need cleaning?
Yes. Exposure and use determine maintenance needs. Surface treatment supports care; it does not make every contaminant disappear.
Will the appearance change?
Appearance depends on the substrate and product. Test an inconspicuous area and review the intended finish before full application.
Can I apply over an existing sealer?
Existing sealers can change compatibility and absorption. Identify the coating and follow the current product directions before proceeding.
