Wicked Strip helps prepare compatible floors by removing existing finish. GlossX is the protective finish step for specified floor surfaces. They have different jobs in the same plan. GlossX uses ZnO for microbial inhibition without light, with additional photocatalytic activity in suitable light.

Substrate compatibility, removal of incompatible finishes, surface cleanliness, moisture, and cure conditions affect adhesion and film performance. Match the complete system to the floor and its traffic; keep slip resistance and maintenance requirements under review. ZnO contributes microbial inhibition without requiring light, and suitable light can enhance its activity. TiO₂ provides light-activated photocatalytic action. Cobalt is included to support heat dissipation. These are different roles within the formulation; surface contact, application, and operating conditions affect the result.

Does the treatment work when there is no light?
GlossX is designed for surface care in both light and dark conditions. ZnO contributes microbial inhibition without light. Suitable light can enhance ZnO and activates TiO₂ photocatalysis. The level and duration of performance depend on the formulation, surface, application, and environment.
Which floors are candidates?
Atmosphere X identifies compatible polished concrete, terrazzo, and VCT applications. Exact surface condition and preparation must be verified before use.
Can GlossX go over any existing finish?
Do not assume compatibility. Identify and remove incompatible coatings or finishes as directed, and perform a test area.
Can we stop all maintenance?
No. Cleaning, inspections, and product-appropriate maintenance remain necessary. The goal is a suitable, manageable floor-care system.
What about slip resistance?
Confirm the requirements for the location and obtain relevant product and test information. A glossy appearance alone does not establish slip resistance.
